The short version:Shoptidy processes your file in memory to clean it, then deletes it immediately. We don’t store your files, we don’t read their contents for any purpose other than cleaning, and we don’t use any analytics or tracking tools on this site.

Who runs this site

What happens to the files you upload

When you upload a file to be cleaned:

  • •Your file is temporarily written to server memory so it can be read and processed.
  • •The cleaning logic reads the file, maps fields, fixes formatting issues, and generates the cleaned output you see in your browser.
  • •The uploaded file is deleted from the server immediately after processing completes — whether the cleaning succeeds or fails.
  • •We do not retain copies, back them up, or log their contents anywhere.

In short: your file exists on our server only for the few seconds it takes to clean it.

What we don’t collect

This site does not use Google Analytics, Plausible, Umami, or any other visitor tracking or analytics tool. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers.

Local usage tracking (your browser only)

To enforce the free plan’s daily limit, this site stores a small piece of data (a count and a date) in your browser’s local storage. This data stays on your device, is never sent to our servers, and is only used to determine how many free cleans you’ve used today. Clearing your browser’s site data will reset it.

Payment information

Pro subscriptions are processed by Creem, our payment provider. When you upgrade, you are taken to Creem’s checkout page directly — we never see or store your card details. You can review Creem’s own privacy policy for details on how they handle payment data.

Cookies

This site does not set tracking or advertising cookies. Any storage used is limited to the local, on-device usage counter described above.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the update date at the top of this page will be revised. Material changes will also be noted on this page.
